For the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a professional photographer, specializing in weddings, newborn, family, and boudoir photography. Alongside my passion for capturing life’s most cherished moments, I’m also a proud mom to two lively, wonderful daughters who inspire me every day. Beyond photography, I have a deep love for teaching and creating, which has become an essential part of my journey as an artist.
In late 2024, my dream became a reality with the creation of Danielle’s Studio 12—a photography studio built right on our property here in Rivers. Designed to foster creativity and provide the perfect environment for natural light photography, the studio represents more than just a workspace. My husband and I envisioned a space that would not only allow me to nurture my passion but also support the growth of other photographers through workshops and mentorship. We saw a need for a unique and inspiring studio space in the Westman area, and we’re so proud to see that vision come to life.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me taking my daughters to their sports activities, catching up with friends, and happily drowning myself in coffee. My husband and I are also enjoying the process of slowly finishing our new home and landscaping the property we built together—it’s been a labor of love, and we’re savoring every step of the journey.
We’re excited to see Danielle’s Studio 12 grow, and we can’t wait to share this journey with you.

My philosophy is to capture life’s most meaningful moments—whether it’s the tender joy of a newborn, the intimate beauty of boudoir, the celebration of love on a wedding day, or the connection of a family. I aim to preserve not just fleeting memories but the emotions, stories, and legacies that make them truly special, creating timeless images to be cherished for a lifetime.
Here’s where you can go on a deeper dive into what started your photography journey and why you love it so much – talk about your motivations and purpose, why every shoot is a new experience.
You can also write about your overall style and personality, what makes you different from all the other photographers they’ve researched. Don’t be shy!
Talk about how your photos will help them relive the day for years and generations to come.
Behind the lens, one of my favorite parts of photography is guiding my clients through poses and using unexpected prompts to create the most genuine, candid moments. From editorial, Vogue-inspired shoots to intimate boudoir, lifestyle family sessions, branding for businesses, and snuggling up with newborns—I love exploring a diverse range of styles to suit the unique vibe and vision of each client. I take pride in adding my signature touch of candid smiles to every shoot and pushing my clients to new heights, creating an experience that feels fresh and exciting. My passion for growth and creativity drives me to improve with every session, and even after so many years, I still love every moment behind the camera.
Here’s where you can delve further into your favourite things outside of wedding photography – everyone might be able to be a photographer, but there’s little quirks that make you unique – chat about that.
Maybe you can talk about your favourite hobbies, food, art or leisure activities. What you do to wind down when you’re not shooting – pets, your family, your hometown.
You can also use this opportunity to rehash your love for travelling – a great way for you to subtly remind them that you’re open to shooting destination weddings.
Remember to wrap up this section by tying it back into wedding photography. For example, “That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favourite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!)”
